While we are at Lowe's today they had the cutest gardening things for toddlers. So of course as soon as Rebecca saw them she had to have some. She is always pretending to plant seeds and flowers so we got excited when today they had Abby Cadabby gardening tools in a bag and veggies to plant. So we bought Abby Cadabby's gardening bag with pumpkins to plant and Cookie Monster's watermelon seeds to plant and got a princess watering can. Below are a few pictures of us once we got home and planted the seeds. Hope you enjoy!
First they had to put water in the pots with the peat moss.
Then Rebecca had to be patient enough to wait 5 minutes for all the water to soak in.
While we were waiting on the pumpkin seed pots to soak up water we went ahead and added the water to the watermelon seed tray.
Then for the other set of pumpkin seeds we had to put the peat moss in a bowl and wait for it to expand and then use the rake to "fluff" it.
After "fluffing" the soil Rebecca helped put it in the pots.
Then we added seeds and a little water and now we wait.
And I think the waiting will be the hardest part!!

That is a great idea. OK has been wanting to plant a garden. I am not much of a dig in the ground kind of person. Maybe I will copy you guys and do something like that.
